Tourists involved in accident at Walvis Bay

A group of tourists were involved in an accident on Wednesday at Walvis Bay.
Erongo police spokesperson inspector Ileni Shapumba says the police received a report of the accident that allegedly took place on the C14 road, outside of Walvisbay.
“We have dispatched a team of emergency officials, including our investigators. We have no communication from the members on the ground as of yet, as the area has no reception,” he says.
Shapumba says there is report of fatality, although details are still unclear.
The police will inform the public when more information is made available, but for now they request patience.
