On February 14th, streets and shopping malls around the world were painted red in celebration of Valentine’s Day—a time to express love in all its forms.

For decades, wearing red has been the signature tradition of this day, symbolizing passion and romance. Couples have marked the occasion in various ways, from exchanging gifts and enjoying romantic dinners to movie dates or quiet moments at home.

But as times change, so does the meaning of love and romance. How has love evolved over the years, and do people still take Valentine’s Day as seriously as before?
