The Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) wants to hire 2 195 vehicles.

The ECN says it has procured 1 727 of 3 922 vehicles required for the presidential and National Assembly elections on 27 November. However, regional electoral officer of the Kavango West region Elizabeth Visagie says a procurement delay was caused by the government not being able to supply the ECN with vehicles.
