Namibian lawmakers have been prohibited from discussing or questioning the violent NAMDIA diamond robbery in Parliament, raising concerns about transparency and accountability. This restriction was uncovered following an NBC investigation into why parliamentarians have remained silent on what could be Namibia’s largest diamond heist involving a state-owned enterprise. However, Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) Secretary General Manuel Ngaringombe has vowed to break the silence.
