Auas Primary School’s principal, Toini Nauyoma has received backlash from the Katutura community. The school, located in a predominantly Damara/Nama area, allegedly tried to remove Khoekhoegowab, sparking outrage among parents. The Ministry of Education launched an investigation into claims of cultural erosion and unfair hiring practices, including allegations of teachers paying up to N$30,000 for positions.
