Planned demonstration around RedForce debt management

Representatives from 13 local authorities are set to brief the media today regarding a planned demonstration against RedForce Debt Management. The company assists municipalities in managing debt recovery processes.Recently, RedForce Debt Management won a case against the Henties Bay Municipality after the local authority decided to terminate its contract with the company.
RedForce was awarded a contract in January 2022 to recover millions of Namibia dollars in unpaid rates and taxes. Between February 2022 and September 2024, the company successfully collected debts amounting to over N$43 million.
