We were joined by Dr. Patrick Simalumba, director of the National Institute for Educational Development (NIED), a key body under the Ministry of Education responsible for curriculum development and teacher training.

With robotics gaining traction globally, NIED has been working to integrate it into Namibian schools, inspired by initiatives like Team Namibia’s participation in the 2023 FIRST Global robotics challenge.
