NYC Saga: Minister Tjongarero Takes Protesters to Court

Youth Minister Agnes Tjongarero has filed an urgent court application against William Minnie, Julia Nekwaya, and Japhet Amakali, seeking to restrict their protests at the National Youth Council (NYC) headquarters. The trio opposes the minister’s appointment of an interim board, labeling it illegal, and have demanded its operations cease until a court ruling on 28 January. Joining John-Colin Namene to discuss the matter further is Julia Nekwaya, Secretary General of the Popular Democratic Movement Youth League.
