NUST launches Digital Arts and Animation Department

The Namibia University of Science and Technology has launched a new Digital Arts and Animation Department to train students in animation, gaming, and content creation.
It’s part of NUST’s push for digital transformation, offering short courses starting this year and full degrees by 2026. The department aims to fill skill gaps and boost Namibia’s creative industry.
