The Ganja Users of Namibia (GUN) recently had their request for a peaceful protest to raise public awareness about cannabis use denied by the Namibian Police.GUN Secretary-General Borro Ndungula stated that the request was submitted in July this year but was only responded to on November 14. The response indicated that the request was denied due to concerns that activists and supporters from South Africa and the United Kingdom might participate, potentially posing risks to Namibia’s sovereignty, national order, decency, or morality
