Marijuana March Organizers Defy Police, Vow to Proceed with Protest

The Namibian police remains mum about concerns around a decision to refuse the Cannabis and Hemp Association of Namibia its right to protest the criminalization of marijuana and the arrest of the president of the Ganja Association of Namibia. At the centre of the contention are concerns that the association wishes to involve outsiders from South Africa in what is seen to be a Namibian matter. However, organisers of the march have said that the demonstration will proceed, despite the stand off with the Namibian police.
