Johannes Gerub Gaseb on the killing of 5 year old Ingrid Maasdorp

The town of Okahandja is in deep mourning after the tragic murder of five-year-old Ingrid Maasdorp, a Grade 0 learner at K.W. Von Marees Primary School. Ingrid was brutally killed on 9 April, sparking public outcry and raising urgent questions about safety in the community.

This comes after the 2023 murder of a pregnant teen shook the town, highlighting ongoing concerns like the lack of nearby police stations.
