We dived into a story that’s got the whole country talking—especially those in agriculture and legal circles.

The High Court recently made its ruling on the veterinary cordon fence, also known as the redline. For those who may not be familiar, this fence has long divided Namibia for veterinary control purposes—protecting the beef export industry in the south from livestock diseases that may be present in the north.

So what does this mean for the farmers on the ground? And where do we go from here?
