A defining moment for Namibia’s democracy saw the Supreme Court’s ruling on Friday in which the court dismissed the challenge to the 2024 presidential election by IPC and the Landless Peoples Movement leader Bernardus Swartbooi.
The decision upheld Swapo’s Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah as president, solidifying her victory with 58% of the vote, while your IPC secured 20 seats in the National Assembly. IPC leader Panduleni Itula joined Desert FM.
