Zimbabwe’s capital, Harare, and its second-largest city, Bulawayo, remained calm on Monday despite calls for nationwide protests against the country’s leadership.
Authorities heightened security in city centers, with the police issuing a statement on X reassuring the public that they could “feel free to embark on their day-to-day activities.”
