Dorthea Nangolo on NSFAF amendment bill

The National Assembly passed an amendment last week to integrate the Namibia Students Financial Assistance Fund (NSFAF) into the Ministry of Higher Education, Technology and Innovation, a move rejected by the Namibia National Students Organisation (Nanso) for risking administrative inefficiencies and funding cuts.
Nanso President Dorthea Nangolo has fiercely opposed this, citing past struggles with loan recovery and the 2024 approval of just 22,339 out of 31,144 applications.
