The Ministry of Health and Social Services confirmed Namibia’s first cholera case in 10 years on Tuesday, detected in the Kunene region at Opuwo District Hospital, raising fresh health concerns.
The patient, a 55-year-old woman, has recovered, but the outbreak signals potential risks amid regional cholera surges.
