The death of Namibia’s third president, Hage Geingob, set in motion a shift in cabinet that saw Nangolo Mbumba elevate to president, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah move to the office of the vice-president leaving the international relations ministry needing a minister. Peya Mushelenga left the ICT department and headed to Parliament Gardens. This ushered in new leadership at the ministry of information and communication technology.
