The Swapo party is now set to commence its extraordinary congress which will enter into the weekend at which it seeks to fill the vacant presidential position.
The event comes at the back of confirmation by the party’s structures for president elect Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah to assume the party presidency.
The decision has been objected to by some from within.
