Knox Imbuwa unpacks the Ministry of Education’s five-day business review in Swakopmund

The Ministry of Education is currently on its five-day business review in Swakopmund, which will also serve to validate the ministerial plans for the 2025/26 financial year.
The meeting is looking at challenges and progress made so far, plans for the next five years and how the ministry could do better.
Discussions have also centred around addressing a range of critical issues impacting the education sector, including procurement, early childhood development, support for learners with special needs, school construction, as well as ministerial restructuring and staff promotions, among others.
