NIP finalises collective wage agreement

The Namibia Institute of Pathology (NIP) and Namibia Public Workers Union (Napwu) have signed a collective wage agreement for the 2024/25 financial year.
The agreement was finalised at Napwu’s head office in Windhoek on Thursday.
The NIP says the agreement signifies the institute’s ongoing commitment to fostering a positive and collaborative relationship with its employees, recognising their valuable contributions.
“We aim to uphold a supportive and rewarding work environment that empowers our team members to deliver exceptional care and service to our patients,” the institute says.
The NIP says it believes the collective wage agreement will further strengthen its team and enable staff members to continue delivering outstanding healthcare services to the communities they serve.
“We extend our sincere gratitude to the leadership of Napwu for their partnership and constructive engagement throughout the negotiation process. Their dedication to representing the interests of our employees has been instrumental in reaching this mutually beneficial agreement that aligns with our shared values of fairness, respect, and excellence,” the NIP says.
