Namibia-Kenya Chamber of Commerce to launch in October
Written by on April 11, 2024
The Namibia-Kenya Chamber of Commerce is set to launch in October this year, aiming to bridge the gap between the two countries.
“We envision the chamber as a platform for investors and traders to explore opportunities in Kenya and Namibia,” founder Elvis Mboya says.
“These countries serve as gateways to vast markets – the East African Community (EAC) and the Southern African Development Community (SADC),” he says.
The chamber builds on the success of the Namibia-Kenya Marketplace Global, a digital platform launched in 2020, which already connects over 1 500 businesses and professionals.
The chamber will also take over the organisation of the annual Namibia-Kenya Trade and Investment Expo, which was held in both Nairobi and Windhoek last year.
