Honorary doctorate conferred on Oukwanyama queen

The Namibia University of Science and Technology (Nust) on Friday conferred an honorary doctorate degree on Oukwanyama Queen Martha Mwadinomho.
During the graduation ceremony at Eenhana, praises were showered on Mwadinomho’s leadership achievements.
“In the contemporary world, characterised with complex cyclical vulnerabilities and development challenges such as poverty, food insecurity and gender inequality, she displayed selfless acts that support mankind which are rare to come by and hence the need for this recognition,” said Nust vice chancellor Erold Naomab.
“Nust is extremely proud and honoured to be associated with her,” Naomab added.
The honorary doctorate conferred on her is in the field of philosophy in leadership and change management.
