Atilla visits Walvis Bay

The luxury yacht Atilla arrived at the port of Walvis Bay on Monday.
The 64-metre steel yacht is equipped with features like a helipad, wellness centre, wine cellar and an oversized beach club.
The yacht has three pools, including one with glass walls and floors that shed light on the beach club below and a marble-lined open staircase connecting the beach club to the main saloon.
It also has a cinema room, multiple dining spaces, extensive meat and wine storage and access to a private pool.
The yacht’s visit to Walvis Bay carries substantial economic and diplomatic significance as it underscores Namport’s growing capabilities as a regional hub for luxury yacht tourism, while enriching Namibia’s international standing and reputation.
The 64,25 m yacht was built in Italy by Sanlorenzo and delivered in 2019.
It is one of 364 steel models in the world.
Its top speed is 18,0 knots, with a cruising speed of 16,0 knots, while it boasts a maximum cruising range of 5000,0 nautical miles at 11,0 knots.
Its power comes from two caterpillar diesel engines.
The yacht can accommodate up to 12 guests in 6 staterooms, with 18 crew members.
It has a gross tonnage of 1600,0 GT and a 13,1 m beam.
