Drug bust at Farm 37

A 21-year-old man and 28-year-old woman were found in possession of cannabis at Farm 37 at Walvis Bay on Friday.
The police found them with 20 bankies of cannabis, weighing 26 grams valued at N$1 300.
Erongo police spokesperson inspector Ileni Shapumba says criminal conduct will not be tolerated at the area.
“Information was received that there were drugs being sold at the house, and a search was conducted leading to the discovery of cannabis,” he says.
“We will deal with anyone dealing in criminal conducts there before the situation gets worse. We encourage others to remain observant and report information of crime to the police without delay,” Shapumba says.
The arrest was made at around 21h20.
