The “Leaders Get Their Hands Dirty with the Youth” Cleaning Campaign – Volume 2 is set to take place in the Samora Machel District on 15 March 2025.

Organized by the Tukwatha Youth Organization (TYO) and supported by the Environmental Investment Fund (EIF) and the City of Windhoek, the campaign aims to bring together youth and national leaders to promote environmental sustainability through community cleanup, recycling, and tree planting.

Key figures such as minister of finance Iipumbu Shiimi, deputy minister of international relations and cooperation Jennely Matundu, Swapo cadre Dino Balloti, and others will be actively participating in this initiative.

To discuss the importance of this campaign and its impact, we were joined by Bonang and Adriana from TYO
