Knox Imbuwa on ICT in education in Africa project

The ministry of education arts and culture in partnership with Unesco Namibia have officially launched the ICT Transforming Education in Africa- Phase III at Arebbusch Travel Lodge.
The project aims to create a national harmonized ICT in Education digital platform with curriculum-aligned content, ensure teachers Digital Capacity Development, learners Digital Capacity Development and finalise the ICT in Education Policy.
The launch comes as the ministry braces to revamp the country’s e-learning by closing the digital gap via provision of ICT tools, equipping teachers with digital knowledge and ensuring internet connectivity in schools, which remain a challenge.
