Winefried Holza on National Art Gallery of Namibia marble stone exhibition

The National Art Gallery of Namibia yesterday hosted a marble stone exhibition titled Earth to Light which showcased some of the finest works from the Whuda Marble Art Namibia studio.
The event which drew a big crowd from Namibia’s creative scene brought to the fore fine creativity bordering on abstraction showcasing the unlimited power of the marble stone when exposed to the chisel and hammer.
The exhibition was then followed up by a sculpting workshop which kick started today in the morning and led by Winefried Holza from the Whuda Marble studio in Windhoek north.
