It has now been six days since the passing of Founding President Dr. Sam Nujoma at a private hospital in Windhoek. For the past week, Namibia has been in mourning, with a 21-day national period of remembrance in place, including restrictions on celebratory public events. As the nation continues to reflect on Nujoma’s life, legacy, and impact, the focus now shifts to the future.
