Activists Demand Action from ACC on Alleged Municipal Corruption

The Anti-Corruption Commission has this week been handed a petition by activists from Gobabis, Katutura, and Okahandja complaining of slackness in investigating corruption reports. The residents have alleged that there is a fraudulent escalation of debts and a corrupt employment of external debt collectors that are being protected by powerful people within municipalities. The residents say they want the ACC to catch the big fish behind corruption in municipalities. For more on this, we were joined by the ACC spokesperson, Josephine Nghituwamata.
