Mozambique’s Democratic Alliance Coalition leader, Venâncio Mondlane, is set to return to the country after fleeing due to safety concerns following a disputed election.
This development comes as the ruling Frelimo party and the DAC prepare to sign an agreement aimed at ending the violence.
Mondlane, who has been vocal about alleged election rigging in October 2023, previously called for mass protests.
