Exactly four years ago ,Namibia’s sprint ace Christine Mboma was sitting on top of the world. She won a silver medal at the Tokyo Olympics in the 200-metre race.
Four years down the line, Mboma is a pale shadow of herself struggling to qualify for the same grand stage after going through a hormonal suppressing period.
This was after the international athletics committee said she had a high level of testosterone, which gave her an unfair advantage. Ironically, some athletes with the same genetic makeup competed in the Olympics in different sports .
