The Swapo party now waits a with bated breath for election results after yesterday’s polling, with a victory making history for Namibia if Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah becomes president. The party garnered  56.3 percent of the vote in 2019, a decline from the 87 percent scooped by the now late president Hage Geingob in 2015.
